Earn some more Swagbucks with SwagTV

For those of you who are online a lot and have time to spare.  I totally didn't know this but if you watch like TEN 2-3 min videos on SwagTV you can get 3 Swagbucks. The max I heard is 75 a day. But that can really add up.  Most people open second browser and just click start throughout the day to earn.  The cool part is they actually have great videos.  Like there Style section is super amazing and they have food channel too.  Hint the gossip ones are usually less than a minute.

Easy BONUS Bucks 7 Swagbucks

So, I logged in this morning and saw this TOYOTA bonus bucks opportunity.  Super easy you just want a vidoe and play a quick round of RUBIX cube.  And if your brain is as messed up as mine is with puzzles, they give you hints and if you still don't get it they give you the points lol.

Less than 3 months to Christmas

It just hit me... man September is almost over which means inevitably .. THE HOLIDAYS are coming!  As a kid, I loved them because it would mean parties and presents.  But now as an adult, I know better it means entertaining, lots of meaningless social gestures of ridiculous gifts and BILLS.  Don't get me wrong, I do love the Holidays... mostly the free stuff: like wrapping gifts, listening to Holiday music, baking with my younger relatives, eating, cooking and gathering..... I just wish it would be less superficial.

If hadn't been so lazy, all year long I should have been stockpiling gifts.  Buying thoughtful things when I catch them on sale versus the ridiculous Holiday Rush.  Well I'm going to start planning again.  This year like last year, I think I'm going to do a lot of homemade or gift basket like things.  I was a little pissed last year by how the NYC teenagers I had to buy for reacted to my gifts.  Like seriously its a recession and their expecting a $50-$100 gesture in gifts from me!! They all have IPhones and I have a prepaid phone, like seriously messed up.  Whatever, this year the teens are getting the least thought from me that's for sure.

I'm thinking SWAGBUCKS for them.  So that means I better get on it.  I love Swagbucks because I love getting the Amazon eGift Cards. It's by far the best deal for your points too. There's just so much stuff you can get on Amazon and I can stack my eGift Cards which is just lovely.  But the catch is redeeming typically takes a week, so once you get enough points you want to get the redemption right away.  On average, with not much time devotion I average two $5 gift cards a month.

My other option is Physical Gift Cards.  Personally, I've always felt them to be cold.  But with all my Teen Recipients and their parents.. I think their so shallow that'd they'd be happier to see the dollar equivalent of how much I spent on their children.  So I might go with Gift Cards and hold off on redeeming my Amazon Cards for a while.

ACTIVISM via Couponing

Sometimes, I just want to ignore the news.  It just makes me mad, more job losses and economic suffering for the middle and lower classes and in the Yahoo article I read, it even suggested we spend more to boost the economy to HELP corporations.  Which is absolute garbage, because they've been in record breaking earnings levels for the last decade.  Its not us hard working folks that need to spend more, its the Corporations that need to accept lower profit levels and some corporate social responsibility.  As if when your making hundreds of millions of dollars, spending a couple million more to give employees jobs and health insurance is really killing your business.  But that's the level of greed and power they have in today's society.  And the media helps perpetuate this kind of thinking.  I hope people actually wake up and start realizing that we need to push back.

I hope the wake up call is a passive one... we all know what happened in London of all places recently.  Who knew the civilized Brits could at like that.  It was really tragic..

Couponing is great not only for your own wallet but it withholds some money from corporations.  The fact that I can get so many things for such a low price or free legally and regularly just shows how ridiculous price levels are.  Maybe its the inner idealist activist that still resides from my youth but to me its like "sticking it to the man" in this case the Corporation.  Its a way for me to say "you don't control me by making me spend money on things at your suggested retail price." And by saving and living frugally, you escape that cycle of materialism that seems to dominate modern culture these days.  When you really look at your life and reflect, how much of the money you make grueling at work is spent supporting things you actually enjoy, want and need VERSUS what a million dollar ad campaigns have cleverly placed in your mind.

Personally, my couponing experience really helped to disassociate myself from materialism.  The experience of getting things for such rock bottom prices makes me really value of a dollar. If I can get a brand name toothpaste for just sales tax, why would I want to pay more for another item on a higher scale.  The habit of maximizing your savings and pursuing each shopping trip at your local drug store conditions your brain to be effective with you money.  The light bulb moment is when you realize you don't need to spend a lot of money to lead a quality life.

Don't you think if we all were just a little more thoughtful with our spending this country could possible avoid the next another credit crisis and the cycle of Boom and Bust we seem to have every couple years?  Like the predicted bust with the Student Loan Bubble people are talking about now?

How to Earn More Swagbucks

INTERNET SEARCHING
The max I’ve ever been awarded is 3 times in one day. I typically average 7-11 points per award. Its more efficient to split your searches into separate 3 hr intervals.  You will never get 2 rewards in 20 minutes after getting your first award.  For me personally, I’ll answer my daily poll and after 3 searches; I’ll get my first award.  After each search, I might just click on my search result and let it hang; so they treat it as a natural search.   This is an anti-computer program search effort as people used to download programs to get computers to trick the system into thinking it was searching.
I’ll search for everything vs typing in the web URL.  Like google, yahoo, my favorite websites.

REFFERALS
A couple of days after you first sign up, you’ll be able to email or get your referral code directly.  And when anyone signs up and starts earning through searching; you as the referrer will get matching Swagbucks for the first 1,000 they earn.  This option I reserve for when my searches aren’t generating much Swagbucks.  A referral kind of Super Charges your account.

COUPONS
For every coupon you print and use via their Coupons.com link; you get 10 Swagbucks.  They typically will post in a week or two but it’s a great way to use your couponing ways to get extra Swagbucks.

SWAG SPECIAL VIDEO OFFERS
Randomly, you’ll see offers for Videos on Swagbucks.  It’s very similar to the Rite Aid Video Values, you answer quick poll and then it’ll populate tailored advertisement videos for you to watch.  They’re about 30 seconds and you have to watch for the 2 numbers that appear in the videos.  At the end , you type the numbers and you’ll get one Swagbuck per video.

Easy ways to earn Swagbucks

How do you earn Swagbucks?

This will probably be the most confusing for newbies so I’ll go through my favorite easy ways to earn aside from web searching.  **Also, you do not need to download their tool bar.

DAILY POLLS
Go to the Swagbucks website and take a look at the side bar on your left hand side and click on “Daily Poll.”  Every day they will have a new question and you simply pick one and click submit.  This will take you less than a minute and you’ll earn 1 Swagbuck.

Non Obligation Special Offers
Go to the Swagbucks website and take a look at the side bar on your left hand side and click on “NOSO”.  You can simply at the bottom skip through all the offers by clicking on skip at the bottom of the page.   At the end, you just have to type in the phrase you see and click submit.  You can do this once everday and earn 2 Swagbucks.  This will also take you less than a minute.

TRUSTED SURVEYS
Go to the Swagbucks website and take a look at the side bar on your left hand side and click on “Trusted Surveys” and automatically you’ll earn 1 Swagbuck.  You don’t even need to fill out a survey. This will take you about 20 seconds of your time.

That’s about 5 Swagbucks a day for a minute of your time.  Since there’s 365 days a year, that’s 1845 easy Swagbucks a year you can redeem for $20 in Amazon e gift certificates.

Christmas Planning in August via SWAGBUCKS

One of the biggest challenges to my budget every year is Christmas as most of you all know.  No matter how well you plan, you always end up spending extra money on last minute gifts. So last year, I started searching for ways to be frugal for Christmas.  One of the most helpful things, I learned was from a CBS segment showcasing this woman who didn’t have to craft her gifts, which in NYC you will not get a good reception for but INSTEAD gave out awesome gifts without spending a dime!  Yeah no huge credit card bill to deal with or humiliating Part Time jobs to apply for.
One of the highlighted methods and this is my tried and true method is SWAGBUCKS.  It’s amazing and not just for Christmas. For about 10 minutes of my time a day, which I would be web surfing anyways; I typically earn about $10-$15 bucks in month in Amazon gift cards.  Obviously, if your very busy this may not be worth your time.  But if you have liberal internet access at work, why not multi-task this into your routine.

What is Swagbucks?
It’s basically a search engine like Google and Yahoo.  Except each search gives you a chance to earn Swagbucks (aka points toward redeeming rewards).  It’s expanding by becoming a source for games, media and videos too. Which means even more ways to earn Swagbucks.

How do I signup?
You can just go to Swagbucks.com or kindly click on my referral link: Swagbucks
Signup with your real name, email address and mailing address (if you plan on redeeming physical gift cards and gifts) and the rest of the info not so important.  You’ll get 30 points for being a new member.

What can you redeem your Swagbucks for?
The best deal for the least amount of Swagbucks is the $5 eAmazon gift card which only requires 450 Swagbucks for redemptions.  Otherwise, there’s a whole bunch of other gift cards like Target and Starbucks; even Paypal cash.

So sign up early and start searching!!!!!!!
