1 Non Nonsense Hose Reg Price $4.79 ***Sale $2.99

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Subtotal: $5.98 - ( Used Prior UPs $5.38)
Total OPP: $.60
Total New UPs: $3 and still hold $20 in prior ups
Submitting for $3 SCR

Final Cost: $.02 MONEY maker! For some reason, today none of my transactions had any sales tax.

*Also looking at fine print, The PROFOOT deal has limit of 4 rebate and 4 ups per household.  Which means  if you can print more coupons, you can get more!

**Update on Revlon

The Spa Concealer was 10.99 at my store and The Age Defying Eye Concealer was $9.99.  The Rite Aid coupon says Age Defying Cream with DNA, which both of the above didn't have.  But at my store they only had one product with DNA which was the Foundation at $14.99.  Which means it could have been error on Rite Aid's part and both coupons might have scanned but since my Rite Aid is so awful to deal with I didn't want to chance it and ruin my morning.

So you could buy the Age Defying DNA foundation for $14.99 - ( $5 MFC and $3 RC) = 6.99 and get $4 up back, making cost $1.99 plus tax.

“It’s Going to Get a Lot Worse”: ECRI’s Achuthan Says New Recession Unavoidable

It's a bummer, I know.. Aghh there are days when I just think its going to really be the case and I just want to drop everything and escape it all.  I mean if we're going to be headed for even more HELL why even bother? But as an ADULT sticking your head in the sand is I suppose not wise. Don't get me wrong, I am so pissed like is my generation going to be the lost generation? Is all my hard work going to be for nothing but a life like back in the Great Depression? I suffer and work my ass off, while another generation just blows it and reaps the rewards of all my hard work?  Something to ponder.... and PLAN.

Super Uber rich guys are making bizzare commentary.  George Soro's talking about how to avoid WORLD recession and then you have Omaha Billionaire Warren Buffet talking about taxing the rich to solve our problems.  Totally twilight zone right?  As a responsible ADULT for now, I keep periodic tabs on the financial news and so I'd thought I share.

For now all I can do is SAVE and build up my stockpile.  Sometimes, I forget why I'm doing it and lately all I have to do is read the news and be reminded.  I don't have a major plan right now .. I think this is the quarter life crisis talking but I can do little things like Stockpile and be wise with my money.  Who knows what the future will bring at the rate we're going.

CVS Run Results

TRIP 1

1 Excedrin 8 ct  $.99
1 Neutrogena Microdermabrasion Set $ 23.49
1 Neutrogena Microdermabrasion Puff Refill $ 15.49
                    -$4 MFC
Total OPP: $35.97 + $3.46 tax = 39.43
Got $.99 ECB + $10 ECB
Submitted for $10 Neutrogena Rebate
Will be getting $5 ECB as Beauty Club Member
Final Cost : $13.44

CVS Beauty Club gives you $5 ECB wybb $50 worth of products (you have to give it 24-48 hrs for receipt to catch up so hence I waited to make my Second Trip)

TRIP 2

1 Olay Body Wash $7.99
1 Olay Regenerist Night Cream $17.99
-$7.99 (Buy Olay Regenerist and get Free Body Wash)
                           -$16.99 ECB
Total OPP $2 + $1.86 tax = $3.86
Real Cost for Olay Body Wash and Olay Night Cream = $21.85

$25.98 earned toward next CVS Beauty Club reward and toward $10 P&G rebate

Total OPP cost for all the Above = $32.30

It is a really high OPP for me, but considering that I love the Microdermabrasion Kit and this is on my NEED list its a great deal.  Because it was like getting the Olay Body wash and lotion for free.  If I'd bought the Neutrogena Stuff online at best Sale price with free shipping, it would still have cost me $33.68.  The $32.30 I spent on the above is still less than if I'd bought this stuff online at best price possible!  In some cases like this buying more is cheaper.  And I forgot to use the free $2 ECB I got and all of my totals for 2nd trip can be counted for the P&G rebate and Beauty Club, so even more opportunity to reduce the cost of these transactions later on.
